…Except the only context in which tarot cards come up in the comic is a half-visible poster advertising tarot readings in a “psychic’s” shop.

If you’re concerned about being tarred with that brush, perhaps you might consider taking this appeal to the myriad “psychics” who use tarot as part of their acts rather than the cartoonists who portray the scope of those practices accurately.
